Members of the Rhode Island Science Fiction Club are touring the world and coming to a television near you maybe soon! Okay, we might not get as big-time as Weezer or Foo Fighters but, courtesy of Rockband, Bubba & the Ho Teps can come (sorta) close and without leaving the comfort of Mike and Judy’s living room!
Everyone gets in on the fun with Rockband. You get a guitar, drums and microphone, and if you already have Guitar Hero, you can use the guitar from that, too, to round out the band with a bass.
This game is definitely a social thing. Whether it’s a group of friends or a family (yes, I’ve heard of many family bands - Moms rock!) this is a guaranteed blast! We share the glory, switching out positions. Yes, as the pics prove, even quiet Jody will get in on the fun (well, when the crowd dies down a bit).

This is THE Gift for Christmas! What not enough SF value for this site? Most every member pictured is a member of the club and more are watching or itching to get “on stage.” The band’s name is named after Bubba Ho-Tep (which movie we love!). Not good enough? Tough!
