Providence Anime Conference

logo.png Providence Anime Conference is Rhode Island’s first anime convention and the first anime event in the world designed for anime fans 21 and above. This limited admission event will be held in the Rhode Island Convention Center from October 3 - 5, 2008, featuring anime screenings and unique live programming that includes academic, industry, and professional panels. Providence Anime Conference is a volunteer-run event organized by the non-profit New England Anime Society.

The New England Anime Society is a non-profit, Massachusetts-based organization dedicated to furthering public education and understanding of Japanese language and culture through visual and written media. NEAS-run events include Providence Anime Conference, Anime Boston (the largest Japanese animation convention in the northeast), and anime screenings at First Night Boston.

There are a limited number of memberships available. If you want to attend, you will need to register in advance. You will not be able to register at the door. The first 250 people to register will get a discount on their memberships.
