One of the best comics in the horror genre is Dark Horses’ Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Produced by creator Joss Whedon as Season Eight of the long running tv series, it’s a must read for Buffy fans. Unfortunately, if you’re not familiar with Buffy, you’ll probably have to rent some of the past season dvd’s to understand a lot of the ‘in jokes’, but newbies will still get a kick out of the often humorous writing, great art, and awesome stories.
